Obligation
The amendment to the Czech Consumer Protection Act (parliamentary print 53) has not been passed as of October 1, 2026, but the form of the notice and the label applies under the EU regulation from September 27, 2026, and the ministry expects the same effective date. Selling to Slovakia? The obligation already applies there. Rolling it out now is easier than catching up later.
Label
No. Only on products where the manufacturer gives a free commercial guarantee of durability for the whole product that is longer than 2 years. But every online store must have the notice on the statutory guarantee.
Details
The manufacturer provides them. The seller does not have to look them up, but it pays to agree with suppliers that the details come straight with the product data.
Design
No. The colors, layout and QR code must not be changed; only three fields are filled in. That is why the generator works directly from the Commission’s official file.
Years
The Commission’s guidelines allow whole years and half years, but no other decimals. A half year does not fit on the official template at the prescribed font size, though - the number would cover the calendar icon. So the generator offers whole years.

No. The label is put together right in your browser and nothing is sent to us.
