Deedhold

A flat monthly fee. No revenue fees.

The price is tied to capacity and service level, not to your sales. The size depends on your orders and visitors, and as you grow, you simply move up a tier.

Work out your size and price

Move the slider to match the size of your store. Hosting, security and management are included, with no revenue fees. Not sure which size to pick? We’ll recommend one in your free assessment and demo and compare it right away with what you pay today for licenses, add‑ons and agencies. All prices are excl. VAT.

What Magento costs on your own

A rented store is like a rented apartment: you pay little, but none of it is yours and the landlord sets the rules. Your own solution is a house - it’s yours, but someone has to build it and then look after it. With us, you live in your own house and we handle the building and the upkeep.

Deedhold builds on Magento - an open platform that anyone can host. Running it securely is another matter. Below is the minimum your own store needs - and what it would cost you to run it yourself.

Every month

Operations someone has to look after

An online store isn’t a finished product you buy once and forget. It’s living software: patches come out, laws change, dependencies age. Someone has to stay on top of it - and be available the moment something breaks.

The flat fee of €500 a month applies with an annual commitment. Without a commitment, it’s €550 a month.

Predictability

The invoice is the same every month - even the month something breaks.

When your store acts up, finding the cause is part of the flat fee. Nobody bills you hours because the problem turned up somewhere other than expected, and nobody holds off on diagnostics until you approve a budget. On your own, this is exactly the line item you can never predict - one month zero, the next ten hours of developer time.

Savings over time

How much you save over 1 to 5 years

Year 1 €24,686
Year 2 €32,246
Year 3 €39,806
Year 4 €47,366
Year 5 €54,926

The Magento migration you don’t pay for (€17,126) plus €630 a month on operations with an annual commitment. After five years, the difference is €54,926.

We count the lower bound: an hourly rate of €100, even though a senior Magento developer usually costs more. We left out backups with verified restores, CDN, monitoring, regression testing after every patch, and maintaining legal modules when legislation changes. And certainly not the cost of a single security incident - that outweighs every number above.

What’s behind the price

The questions we get most often when a customer compares our price with what they pay today.

Comparison

I pay a fraction of this for my store today.

Yes, at first you pay more. The difference is where the money goes: when you rent, you pay for permission to do business on someone else’s property. With us, you invest in your own - the code, data and design stay yours. And renting is only cheap until you start to grow: paid add‑ons, payment gateway fees and a percentage of your revenue pile up. Our flat fee doesn’t rise with your sales.

Growth

What does another country or a second store cost?

Nothing extra. Magento runs multiple stores, languages and currencies in one installation - you don’t pay per store, you pay for server capacity. To give you an idea: ten small stores fit into one flat fee, while two large ones need an assessment based on their traffic. How multiple stores work → Get in touch and we’ll go through it with you.

Platform

Isn’t Magento an expensive enterprise platform?

What was always expensive was the agency project, not the platform itself - Magento is open‑source. We’ve turned what every store needs over and over into a product, and spread the cost across all our clients.

Savings

How can it be cheaper than doing it myself?

We build each patch, module and piece of monitoring once and roll it out to everyone - you would pay a developer’s full rate for work that, with us, a whole fleet of stores shares. Economies of scale apply to buying services too: we negotiate hosting, security tools and licenses for the whole fleet, and so for you.

Incidents

What if something breaks?

Diagnostics are part of the flat fee. Elsewhere you pay for every hour spent finding the cause - even when it turns out the fault wasn’t on your side.

The catch

What’s the catch? What isn’t included?

Custom development, paid modules from our partners and custom themes. We tell you up front, and always with a budget approved in advance.

Performance

Do you cut corners on server performance?

You’ll find the specs for each size in the calculator above. EU data center, dedicated resources, no overselling. When you need more power, you move up a size for free.

Independence

What if I leave you?

Magento is open‑source, and the data and solution are yours. No lock‑in - you export your data from the admin, you have the code in your repository, and we prepare a complete database export on request.

No hidden fees

Whatever isn’t covered by the flat fee, we tell you up front - and always with a budget approved in advance.

Development

Custom development

After migration, the platform is fully functional. When you want something unique just for you, we build it at our hourly rate. Your own developer can also customize the theme; backend exceptions are assessed case by case.

Modules

Paid modules

Modules from our technology partners that extend what your store can do.

Migration

Migration projects

If none of our ready‑made themes suits you, we offer custom themes and customizations so the migration matches your original store exactly.
