Backorders
Orders even at zero stock, with a notice for the customer.
You keep stock separately for each warehouse, retail store or supplier. The store always knows how many units are really for sale, because it reserves ordered goods right away. Two customers can’t buy the same last unit.
The store keeps track of the difference between what sits on the shelf and what you can still sell.
Ordered goods are not deducted from stock right away. First they are reserved and the salable quantity drops. They are deducted from stock only when shipped.
Nobody else can order a reserved last unit, not even when shopping at the same moment.
A canceled order releases the reservation and the units are for sale again.
Each warehouse, retail store or supplier has its own stock level. You assign stores the warehouses they sell from, and each store works with the sum of their units.
For each order the system recommends which warehouse to ship it from, based on the warehouse priority you set.
You import and export stock levels per warehouse in bulk through CSV.
How stock levels show up in the store and what you see of them in the admin.
“In stock” on the product, or “Only a few left” when stock drops below a threshold you set.
You can hide sold‑out products or keep them in the catalog as unavailable.
When you allow backorders, the customer sees a notice that the product is not in stock yet.
For every product, the stock in each warehouse and the quantity that is still for sale.
An overview of products whose stock dropped below the set threshold.
Bulk import and export of stock levels per warehouse through CSV.
Rules you set once and the store then enforces by itself. All features →
